This is the BBC’s Sports marketing campaign and titles for the Olympic Games. They are based upon the traditional Chinese folklore ‘Journey to the West’.
The animation and music were produced by Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn.
Ten Thousand Cents is a digital artwork that creates a representation of a $100 bill. Using a custom drawing tool, thousands of individuals working in isolation from one another painted a tiny part of the bill without knowledge of the overall task. Workers were paid one cent each via Amazon’s Mechanical Turk distributed labor tool. The total labor cost to create the bill, the artwork being created, and the reproductions available for purchase are all $100.

Working with our friends at Grey London we have created a campaign to promote FRijj. Our brief was to create an engaging online campaign that centres on a series of funny ‘disaster themed’ films that emphasises the slowness of FRijj milkshake.
I’m still not entirely sure what’s going on but I do know it looks very cool.
These days it looks like all the cool kids are into synchronising their devices!
MobileMe from Apple and LiveMesh from Microsoft are pretty nifty new ways to keep your iPhone, Mac, PC etc all updated and provide a shared platform to access your folder and files anywhere…

He’s an Artist, Deisgner, Developer based in New Mexico.
In the Mod is a selection of apps he’s created to grab colour from Flickr, Webcams and from images on your computer and organise and import them into Processing and most of the Adobe apps.
I saw him speak at Flash On The Beach last year and he was brilliant.
