I was around oxford circus yesterday and couldn’t help but notice the swarm of bikers riding through the high street. There must have been around 250 people on all ranges of bikes and scooters! I didn’t really know why they were there, but it looked like fun.
Turns out they were protesting against the new propsal to charge bikes for parking in London.

I can relate to a lot of them.
Like Samara I too was involved in a race on Sunday… only mine was on a children’s trike. We turned up at an early 10 am with our trusty trike in hand and our racing spirits raring to go.
Unfortunately my team and I drastically underestimated just how physically and mentally challenging the event would be. We are still waiting to hear our position, personally I think its going to be in the bottom few! But we still have our pride in tact…well just about.
