Pencil Project is a new prototyping tool that’s a plug-in for Firefox 3. Since it’s browser-based, it’s cross-platform, and it’s open source and completely free. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any interactive abilities (yet). I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet, and I doubt it will replace tools like Visio, but it looks like it will be a good affordable tool for wireframing and prototyping.

 Island

How great would it be to have your own Island.

A piece of tranquil heaven to truly call your own.

Here’s a selection of some of little Islands that have home’s on.

Enjoy

An arresting set of photography shot along the constantly changing Yangtze river. As he says “these are photographs that can never be taken again”. Visit the Nadav Kander website for even more incredible shots. Read the rest of this entry »

Amazing looking 3D online board game with a bit of action too. It takes a while to load but it’s worth it.

 madeinqueensbike

“Made in queens” is a short film directed by Nicolas Randall and Joe Stevens. It takes a look at a new underground trend emerging in Queens, New York where a group of teenagers are customising bikes with huge sound systems! I want one…

Check out the trailer for the film here.

The madeinqueens team recently posted on their blog:

“The London premiere of Made In Queens will be in the next few months, we will keep you all posted.”
